Kate from Coorie says “The business name is part of a Scottish phrase my granny used to say, “coorie-in, dear” which means snuggle in, warm up, you are loved. I started my pottery because I wanted to create a home-made home where my family could ‘Coorie-in’. I was lucky that others liked what I was making and encouraged me to sell them.”
