These beautiful brightly coloured seabirds usually mate for life and only produce one egg each year. When it hatches, the young bird is known as a “Puffling”. Sadly they are now critically endangered due to predators, and climate change.

Katherine Cadin’s paintings reflect her love of the sea, and the Jersey coast. Her passion for vibrant colour and pattern is influenced by her Greek heritage and love of Aboriginal art. Each piece is hand painted with brushes and sticks, and is very detailed and textured, creating a beautiful, vibrant, and unique piece, which aims to bring the subjects to life.
