A brightly coloured tea towel featuring a design from an original painting of Homarus Gammarus, otherwise known as the European or common lobster which is native to Jersey’s waters. The design was inspired by the red and white painted stripes of the 18th century round tower in Archirondel bay on the East coast of Jersey.

Katherine Cadin’s paintings reflect her love of the sea, and the Jersey coast. Her passion for vibrant colour and pattern is influenced by her Greek heritage and love of Aboriginal art. Each piece is hand painted with brushes and sticks, and is very detailed and textured, creating a beautiful, vibrant, and unique piece, which aims to bring the subjects to life.
