Created as part of the ‘Our Island’ exhibition, this series of wet plate style photographic prints feature original photos which have then been digitally edited to give a ‘turn of the century’ look to them.
This mounted print of the Jersey road sign ‘La Vallée des Poulets Libérés’ is somewhat of a unique piece. In the summer of 2019, the fictitious spoof road sign appeared along La Route de l’Aleval, known as the Old German Road, or chicken valley, created by the Anonymous Arts Group. No sooner had it appeared, referring to the feral chicken population which could be found roaming the valley, than it vanished presumed stolen, never to be seen again. We’re not sure the chickens ever recovered from this awful act of thievery!
The print is available in two sizes: 16×12″ (40 x 30cm) and 20×16″ (50 x 40cm).
Printed on quality art paper and supplied with a thick white mount, each piece is ready to be framed. Please note, frames are not included and mount size is the frame size you will require.
Dimensions: A4 print in a 16″ x 12″ mount or A3 print in a 20″ x 16″ mount
