My father is a talented man. He spent many years carving beautiful birds and animals. He now more recently is making these stunning pictures with the art of Pyrography. He has made these wonderful placques of the Parish Churches within our beautiful island.
Pyrography is the free handed art of decorating wood by burning the wood with a heated pen. It is also known as wood burning. The term comes from the Greek word meaning means “writing with fire”.
