This enamel mug is perfect for the outdoors, whether it’s for a picnic, after a swim at the beach, camping, or just in your garden. This enamel mug features a design from an original painting of a group of Mackerel. Mackerel arrive in Jersey every summer, and I love their distinctive shimmering colours of green and turquoise on their upper body. The name Les Minquiers refers to the Southernmost reef off the coast of Jersey, an island with some granite summer houses, and claims the southernmost toilet in the British Isles!
Dimensions 8cm (H) x 8.5cm (W)
Please note: As a handmade product, the enamel dipping process is likely to result in small flaws in the coating. These small imperfections are a natural characteristic of the manufacturing process
Care of your mug: Not suitable for dishwashers and microwaves. Hand wash only. Dry immediately after washing to avoid rust spots.
Maker: Katherine Cadin
Katherine Cadin’s paintings reflect her love of the sea, and the Jersey coast. Her passion for vibrant colour and pattern is influenced by her Greek heritage and love of Aboriginal art. Each piece is hand painted with brushes and sticks, and is very detailed and textured, creating a beautiful, vibrant, and unique piece, which aims to bring the subjects to life.
