A larger ceramic mug perfect for every day use, featuring a design from an original painting of a group of Mackerel. Mackerel arrive in Jersey every summer, and I love their distinctive shimmering colours of green and turquoise on their upper body. The name Les Minquiers refers to the Southernmost reef off the coast of Jersey, an island with some granite summer houses, and claims the southernmost toilet in the British Isles!

Maker: Katherine Cadin
Katherine Cadin’s paintings reflect her love of the sea, and the Jersey coast. Her passion for vibrant colour and pattern is influenced by her Greek heritage and love of Aboriginal art. Each piece is hand painted with brushes and sticks, and is very detailed and textured, creating a beautiful, vibrant, and unique piece, which aims to bring the subjects to life.
