Dor Beetle Studies – Original pen and ink drawing in hand-painted frame. Dor Beetles are a beautiful large shiny beetle native to Northern Europe including the British Isles. They are a relative of the scarab beetle and a type of dung beetle, essentially they are nature’s recyclers! These ink studies were undertaken in advance of Ian Roll’s Pitt Street chewing gum project, where you can see my “street art” version of these Dor beetles.

£90.00Two original framed silver ink illustrations of coins from Jersey’s Celtic coin hoard. The largest hoard of Celtic coins ever found, the coins are works of art in their own right, as well as telling the tale of the people that lived in Britain and France 2000 years ago.
2 x professionally framed, original illustrations, each one is hand drawn in silver ink on black acrylic painted paper. Stippling technique uses thousands of tiny dots to create each larger drawing. Professionally framed in black wood with mirror plate fittings, each drawing is approximately 6cm in diameter
