This bowl is unique, it is actually made from a Lignum Vitae lawn bowls. Being made from one of the densest woods around it was a challenge to get this bowl turned but it came out well in the end. I even managed to keep some of the letters and numbers on the bottom of the bowl.

There is a dent to the bowl where it flew off of the lathe due to it being so tough to turn. It is marked with a black seal to the base denoting it as one of my Youtube projects.

This bowl measures 120mm in diameter with a height of 90mm.

This bowl is a really nice example of this type of wood, purpleheart grows naturally purple, there are no dyes or colourings used on this timber. The bowl has been turned with a shallow and narrow foot and it has a really nice look and feel to it. This bowl comes complete with a black gift box.
