One of the beautiful things about art is that it can be interpreted in a number of different ways and tell a different story to different people. To me, I imagine her to be drifting on a calm sea perhaps sitting on a surf board. Calm. Centred. Balanced. Even the storm clouds overhead can’t seem to shake her inner peace. She knows that she will float even with a storm raging around her.

Jo is a full time artist from Jersey and a third generation artist within her family. She specialises in a range of different artistic mediums such as graphite and pastel portrait commissions which aim to capture the soul of her subjects on paper, to watercolour paintings and prints using a style which can be described as abstract realism with spiritual themes and an underlying message of hope.
